This tour begins at Schillerplatz in front of the carnival-fountain. The fountain is of existential importance to all genuine "Meenzer" (heart and soul Mainz folk). For every year Mainz's fools show up here at 11:11a.m. on 11.11 the official beginning of the mad 5th Season of the Year.
