Here you will find information on how to register as a professional guardian with the local guardianship authority ("Stammbehörde").
If your place of residence or office is located in the city of Mainz, you can submit your application to us.

The local guardianship authority registers persons who are personally suitable and reliable, have sufficient expertise to work as a professional guardian, and have professional liability insurance (§ 23 BtOG (1) No. 3).

• Personal suitability and reliability
• Certificate of good conduct pursuant to Section 30 (5) (BZRG)
• Information from the central debtor register (Section 882b of the Code of Civil Procedure)
• Personal declaration as to whether any insolvency, investigation, or criminal proceedings are pending
• Personal statement as to whether registration as a professional guardian has been refused, withdrawn, or revoked in the last 3 years prior to the application
• Suitable evidence of the acquisition of the expertise required under Section 23 (1) No. 2 and (3) (alternatively, evidence in accordance with the Guardian Registration Ordinance (BtRegV) Section 7 (5))
