Gutenberg Museum Competition: Results of the Architectural Competition

The Gutenberg Museum as the "World Museum of the Printing Arts" is about to reach its next milestone. The results of the architectural competition have been determined. On October 5 and 6, the expert jury met and intensively examined the submitted competition entries. The competition was won by h4a Gessert + Randecker Architekten and the second prize was awarded to Riehle + Assoziierte GmbH + Co KG with Carmody Groake Ltd. The third prize in turn went to the office wulf Architekten. Following the jury meeting, the winning offices will now be invited to submit their bids so that the award procedure can be concluded, which will ultimately determine the design to be implemented. The competition designs can be viewed by all interested citizens in a public exhibition from Saturday, 8.10. to 26.10. in the Natural History Museum. The award ceremony for the winning offices took place on October 12, also at the Natural History Museum.
