Movie screenings
Several times per day, the Gutenberg Museum screens a movie by the SWR about Gutenberg, the invention of letterpress printing, and the Gutenberg Museum.

Public museum tours
The one-hour tour of the Gutenberg Museum includes a demonstration of the historic printing press and a stop at the original Gutenberg Bibles in the museum vault.
The tour is conducted by the tour guides of the City of Mainz.
Time: Saturdays, 11 a.m. and according to prior agreement

Family Sunday
The exciting children's tour "Of dancing letters and coloured leaves" for children from 6 years of age and their parents is offered by a museum education specialist according to the age of the children. The mobile printing workshop in the Gutenberg-Museum allows children to print their own pictures.
Time: 3 p.m.
Meeting point: Museum cash desk, ground floor
Cost: Guided tour €2.00 and printing €2.00, reduced admission €3.50 for parents and accompanying relatives.
