Get to know what our libraries in five Mainz districts have to offer.
The district libraries in Gonsenheim, Weisenau, Hechtsheim, Mombach, and Lerchenberg offer Mainz residents media and information resources close to where they live. At the same time, they serve as a gateway to the Mainz library system with its wide range of services.
The district libraries offer:
- Collections for children
- Fiction
- Guidebooks and non-fiction books on leisure activities and practical issues (to a limited extent)
- Guided tours for daycare centers and elementary schools
