The Anna Seghers Public Library is looking forward to the next Booktalk event on October 15!

As usual, we’ll meet at 5 p.m. at the Public Library to discuss the novel we’ve chosen together in a cozy and entertaining setting. Just drop by—no registration required!

In October, we’ll be reading the novel *Death at Morning House* by Maureen Johnson together.

This thrilling novel tells the story of Marlowe. After she accidentally sets her neighbors’ house on fire, she ends up on a remote island for a summer job. There, she and other teenagers offer guided tours of an abandoned villa. What initially looks like a harmless summer, however, takes a sinister turn when the mysterious story of a doctor and his adopted children from the 1930s comes to light, and soon no one can be sure whether the dangers of the past are truly behind them.

Everyone has until October 15 to read the novel. Of course, anyone who hasn’t read the novel (or hasn’t read it all the way through) is also welcome to join us.
