Since 2013, the city has been offering the citizens' forums "My city. My ideas." twice a year to find out from the people of Mainz what topics they are interested in and where they would like to see changes. Participants are selected at random from the Mainz residents' register and receive a personal invitation from the Lord Mayor. The documentation and results are available at the Internet link below.
