The Local Advisory Council and the City of Mainz would like to talk with you, the residents of Finth, about improving quality of life, creating places to gather, and your ideas for the Finth town center. We’re looking for your ideas and small-scale projects. Get actively involved by sharing your suggestions, join the discussion, and work with local policymakers to decide which measures should be prioritized and implemented. The Local Advisory Board and the City of Mainz are also counting on your commitment to carry out small projects on your own initiative or, for example, together with your neighbors.

The participatory neighborhood development process “Finthen—Ready for the Future” kicks off with a launch event for all residents on

Monday, October 26, 2026, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., in the “Saal der Lebensfreude” at the Finthen Community Center.

Mayor Nino Haase will welcome you and provide a thematic introduction to the evening. In addition to the members of the local advisory council, the facilitation team from “team ewen” in Darmstadt will ensure that the event proceeds in a constructive and productive manner.

The goal is to implement the measures developed for Finthen’s town center in the coming years, based on the new concept and using the allocated district budget for Finthen. We also hope to encourage you and the local council to independently carry out small projects and get involved in initiatives and organizations to create a vibrant and livable town center.

Refreshments and light snacks will be provided. We look forward to your participation, your ideas, and a successful, productive evening for all Finth residents and the town center.
