About the Gutenberg Library
The Gutenberg Library is one of Germany’s most comprehensive specialized libraries on the history of books, printing, and writing. Its collection covers the entire field of book studies and book design, printing and typography, as well as artistic and graphic printing techniques. The library comprises over 100,500 titles spanning seven centuries and forms the centerpiece of the Gutenberg Museum’s exhibition activities. At the same time, it serves as a reference and research library and is available free of charge to all interested users.
