Second construction phase with parking lot renovation
They are to become more attractive and, above all, safer: the paths at Bretzenheim Cemetery. After the first phase of construction, which included the renovation of the visitor toilets, was successfully completed, the second phase of the project began on October 9, 2023.
The paths around grave fields 2, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, and 21 will be paved with concrete paving stones. In addition, the visitor parking lot will be completely renovated. It will be paved with grass pavers and will have to be partially closed for the duration of the work.
However, the construction company will suspend its work during the funeral services and burials so that these can take place as normal.
