Nothing in life is free, except death—and that costs a lifetime. A German proverb penned by an unknown author, which—taken a step further and interpreted accordingly—would be a good explanation for why we have to charge fees in the area of "cemeteries and burials."

But of course, we don't make it that easy for ourselves. We want you to know why we need the fees, what we use them for, and how they are calculated.
