Water for garden irrigation
The currently valid fee schedule generally allows for the deduction of water quantities that are not discharged, e.g., for garden irrigation.
The prerequisite is that there is verifiable evidence that no wastewater was discharged into the public sewer system during the billing period. The owner is obliged to install a calibrated water meter at their own expense.
A deduction of water quantities will only be made if the owner submits a written request (fax, email, letter) to the municipal utility company within one month of the end of the relevant billing period.
Before installing such a calibrated sub-meter, please contact us by telephone at (0 61 31) 97 15 - 130. We will then provide you with information about the installation requirements. You can also make an appointment with us for meter approval. This ensures that the meter is registered with us and will be taken into account in the future.
Please also note: After the six-year calibration period has expired, the meter must be replaced or recalibrated. Otherwise, water consumption can no longer be recognized.
