Mainz has voted: Results of the 2025 federal election

The German Bundestag is the representative body of the Federal Republic of Germany and its most important legislative body. It consists of representatives of the German people, who are elected by direct, free, equal and secret ballot for a four-year term.

On the results of the Bundestag election

Around 252,240 eligible voters were called to the polls in Mainz on February 23, 2025, for the federal election. 214,575 voters cast their ballots, representing a turnout of 85.1 percent. 1,930 votes were invalid, while 212,645 votes were valid. (As of February 25, 2025)

Election committee confirms official result of the Bundestag election on February 27, 2025

The official final results of the federal election in the city of Mainz and the overall results in constituency 204 were confirmed. This also includes cities and municipalities in the Mainz-Bingen district. The election committee was chaired by district election officer Mayor Nino Haase. In accordance with Section 76 of the Federal Election Regulations, the election officer checks the election records of the election committees for completeness and correctness. The decisions of the election committees did not give rise to any concerns or objections.

Eligible voters: 251,074
Voters: 214,618 = 85.5%
Invalid first votes: 1,926 = 0.9%
Valid first votes: 212,692 = 99.1%

The election committee also notes that Ms. Groden-Kranich, Ursula, CDU, received the most votes in constituency 204 - Mainz.
