The election to the 19th state parliament of Rhineland-Palatinate will take place on March 22, 2026.

On March 22, 2026, elections for the 19th Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament will take place.
The city of Mainz is divided into three constituencies for the state elections (constituency 27 – Mainz I, constituency 28 – Mainz II, and constituency 29 – Mainz III).

This means that three constituency candidates from the Mainz constituencies will be elected directly to the state parliament.

Constituency 27-Mainz I includes:

  • Old Town
  • New Town
  • Upper Town
  • Hartenberg-Münchfeld

 Constituency 28-Mainz II includes:

  • Bretzenheim
  • Gonsenheim
  • Hechtsheim
  • Mombach
  • Weisenau

Constituency 29-Mainz III includes:

  • Drais
  • Ebersheim
  • Finthen
  • Laubenheim
  • Lerchenberg
  • Marienborn

As well as the municipality of Bodenheim
