Rhine Spring in Mainz

The folk festival on the banks of the Rhine in Mainz between the Kaisertor and the Kurfürstenbrunnen will take place in 2026 from March 28 to April 12.

Mainz Rhine Spring

The Mainz Rhine Spring Festival, held on the Adenauerufer between Kaisertor and Kurfürstenbrunnen, marks the start of the spring festival season around the Easter holidays.

Young and old alike can look forward to first-class attractions, numerous delicacies, and great program highlights.

The Ferris wheel, the landmark of Mainz's Rheinfrühling, offers an incredible view over the state capital. Those looking for some peace and quiet can enjoy the view of the beautiful banks of the Rhine and relax wonderfully.

Once again this year, visitors can look forward to a potpourri of attractions and surprises.

Every Wednesday is Family Day with numerous offers and discounts for young and old.

On Easter Monday (April 6), from 12 noon to 3 p.m., the popular tractor and vintage car meet will take place again.

The fireworks displays will take place on Saturday, March 28, and April 11.

A special feature of the opening hours is that all shops and restaurants can open from 12 noon and must be open until 2 p.m.
