Information boards show the way and provide information about important buildings and sights. In addition, narrow green signposts guide you through Mainz.
A large part of the city center is a pedestrian zone, and all shops are within easy walking distance.
More and more areas are also being redesigned to be barrier-free. The city of Mainz has developed its own planning guidelines for this purpose. You can find out more about the project here.
