MEM - My commitment in Mainz
The Regional Diakonie Rheinhessen is responsible for the MEM. The MEM's work focuses on providing advice, information, searching for opportunities, encouraging people to get involved, offering further training, and recognizing volunteers.
The state capital of Mainz and the state of Rhineland-Palatinate provide financial support for the volunteer office.
Volunteer card
The volunteer card is a thank you for particularly dedicated voluntary work. It allows the holder to take advantage of benefits offered by local authorities, the state, or partners throughout the state.
The Volunteer Office processes applications on behalf of the state capital of Mainz. Please send applications for the Mainz Volunteer Card to the MEM Volunteer Office. All information on the requirements and application process can be found on the MEM website.
