The Office for Intercultural Affairs and Labor Market Promotion is a staff unit of the mayor and is primarily responsible for the following tasks:

  • Further development of the integration and labor market strategy of the state capital Mainz.
  • Interface for measures, projects, etc. in the field of integration and labor market policy -Promotion of
  • equal opportunities and equal social participation.
  • Cooperation with municipal and supraregional institutions, organizations, administrations, associations, etc.
  • Eliminating disadvantage and counteracting discrimination and group-focused enmity.
  • Passing on information to those seeking advice in cooperation with counseling centers, municipal offices, and institutions.
  • Public relations work through information and education as well as the organization of events.
