Mainz Greeters

If you want to get to know Mainz in a special and very personal way, the Mainz Greeters are the right people for you. The term "Greeter" is derived from the English word "to greet", to welcome or receive someone.

During a "Greet," local residents volunteer their time to take interested visitors (up to 6 people) on a personalized walking tour of their city. Experience Mainz from a Greeter’s unique perspective!
