Renovation of the water pipe: full closure in Backhaushohl
From Monday, 09.02.2026, Mainzer Netze will be renovating the water pipe in Backhaushohl street in the Mainz-Bretzenheim district. The road surface will also be renewed as part of this work.
The work will be carried out in several construction phases with full road closures and will continue until the end of 2026. The first construction phase will start in the Backhaushohl/corner of Draiser Straße area and continue to Backhaushohl at house number 23. Pedestrians will be able to pass through the construction site. Bicycle traffic will be diverted in both directions via Draiser Straße.
