Lane Closures on Hans-Böckler-Straße and Karl-Zörgiebel-Straße
Starting Monday, July 20, and expected to continue through August 14, 2026, Mainzer Netze will be conducting civil engineering work to disconnect a gas line at Hans-Böckler-Straße 87 / at the corner of Karl-Zörgiebel-Straße in the Mainz-Bretzenheim neighborhood. The sidewalk and one lane of Hans-Böckler-Straße will be closed in this area. Access to Karl-Zörgiebel-Straße will also be completely closed.
Motorized private vehicles and bicyclists on Hans-Böckler-Straße will be routed past the construction site via a mobile traffic light system. Access to Karl-Zörgiebel-Straße is available via the entrance near Sankt Bernhard Church.
Pedestrians can pass the construction site on one side.
