Complete Closure of Ludwig-Schwamb-Straße
Starting Monday, July 27 through approximately August 7, 2026, Mainzer Netze will be conducting civil engineering work to replace a water service connection on Ludwig-Schwamb-Straße (near house number 249 in the Mainz-Finthen neighborhood). The affected area must be completely closed off.
Motorized private traffic heading toward the cemetery will be routed via Am Obstmarkt, Jungenfeldstraße, Kirchgasse, and Uhlerbornstraße, and in the opposite direction via Waldthausenstraße and Poststraße.
Pedestrians and cyclists can pass through the construction site. Public transportation will not serve the Borngasse, Kettelerstraße, and Peter-Härtling-Schule stops during this time.
