Dagmar Seitz-Klippel from Mainz-Finthen has been dedicated to the common good for many years. She connects people seeking help with available resources, organizes in-kind donations, and actively participates in these efforts. For example, Dagmar Seitz-Klippel supports refugee aid at Layenhof, the homeless assistance program run by the association “Poverty and Health in Germany,” and fundraising campaigns for people in crisis and war zones. In addition, she has been advocating for animal welfare for many years—in collaboration with the animal shelters in Mainz and Wörrstadt.

Nominations for the award can be submitted through the local municipality, association of municipalities, county, or independent city where the honoree resides.
