Mainz Economic Development Agency provides impetus for sustainable business
How can companies make a future-proof start to a sustainable transformation today - with a focus on the essentials and with concrete benefits for their own business? This is precisely where a new advisory service from the Economic and Structural Development Agency of the state capital Mainz comes in.
Many businesses recognize that issues such as climate protection, resource efficiency, and responsible business practices are crucial to securing their future. At the same time, day-to-day operations often lack the necessary time or a starting point to take the first steps.
Through a free consulting service, the Economic and Structural Development Office of the State Capital of Mainz supports companies in addressing these future-oriented topics in a practical and structured manner.
“The program is aimed at companies that have little experience with sustainability so far but are motivated and open to exploring the topic,” says Manuela Matz, Head of the Economic Affairs Department. During a session lasting up to three hours, key areas of action for sustainable business practices are presented, individual questions are discussed, and an overview of the company’s current status is developed.
Based on this, concrete recommendations are developed that identify short-, medium-, and long-term starting points. In addition, companies receive information on further regional support services and networks.
The consultation is free of charge and non-binding. It does not replace legal advice but offers sound guidance and a practical introduction to sustainable business practices.
The benefits at a glance:
- Free and non-binding service
- Concise overview of key sustainability topics
- Individual assessment and initial recommendations for action
- Guidance for short-, medium-, and long-term measures
- Access to regional networks and contact points
