Lane closure on Binger Straße and full closure on Wallstraße
As part of the construction work on the Alicenbrücke bridge and in Binger Straße, the traffic island under the "Binger Schlag" bridge will also be redesigned. For this purpose, the right-hand lane out of town on Binger Straße will be closed from 30.03. until probably 10.04.2026.
Traffic will then be routed past the construction site in a single lane. The right-turn lane on Wallstraße heading toward Saarstraße will be completely closed. Motorized private vehicles will be rerouted via Wallstraße, Mombacher Straße, and Römerwall to Saarstraße.
Pedestrians and cyclists will be able to pass through the construction site. Starting Monday, March 23, 2026, preliminary work will begin in the traffic area to prepare for the project, which may also result in restrictions.
