Postponement of waste collection, collection of yellow bags and glass at Easter
During Holy Week, the weekly waste collection service (residual waste, organic waste and paper) will be provided on the four working days from Monday to Thursday (March 30 to April 2, 2026). Collection will take place either on the scheduled collection date or one day earlier.
The collection of yellow bags in the Mainz-Gonsenheim district will be moved up to Saturday, March 28, 2026.
The Monday collection of glass waste scheduled for March 30 will also be moved up to Saturday, March 28, 2026.
All other collection dates for yellow bags and glass will be moved up by one day during Holy Week.
In the week after Easter, all collection dates will be moved up by one day to the following weekend. The last collection day will therefore be Saturday, April 11, 2026.
KAW asks that you place your waste and recycling bins out in time for the changed collection dates.
