Book culture: novels from bookshops, libraries and bookworms
In April, everything at the Anna Seghers Public Library revolves around the fascinating world of literature. The focus is on novels in which books, bookshops and libraries themselves become the most important settings. These novels convey a special atmosphere.
They tell captivating stories of passionate readers, of small, charming bookstores with a rich history, and of libraries as places of connection, knowledge, and inspiration.
In keeping with the theme of the month and “Book Day,” celebrated every year on April 23, the Public Library is presenting a book display in April featuring a selection of novels that celebrate the love of books. Sometimes humorous, sometimes thoughtful, romantic, or even thrilling stories take center stage. April thus invites you to discover the special relationship between readers, their books, and the places where they come to life.
