Cancellation of the 2027 Mainz Mini-Press Fair
The V. O. Stomps Prize will also be awarded in 2027—the application period begins in early 2027
Mainz. Due to the current budget situation in the city of Mainz, all departments of the city administration are facing cost-cutting measures, each of which poses significant challenges. Negotiations regarding budget consolidation measures, combined with organizational considerations, have led to the decision that the Mainz Mini-Press Fair must be put on hold next year.
To our regret, we must therefore announce that the 28th Mainz Mini-Press Fair will not take place in 2027. Updates on further developments will be posted on the Mainz Mini-Press Fair website.
The call for submissions for the 24th V. O. Stomps Prize in 2027 is expressly not affected by this decision. The submission period will begin as usual in early 2027 and will be announced on the Mainz Mini-Press Fair website.
