Explore the “Wild Worlds” of the Mainz Natural History Museum (nhm) by the light of a flashlight… Sound tempting? Then we recommend joining “Lights On!,” the nhm’s flashlight tours. 

Whether after school, after work, or “just for fun”—the museum team shows families and their kids the exhibition at night! 

In addition to the family tours, the “Late Night Specials” are taking place again this year, where adult guests exclusively can enjoy an after-work atmosphere with cold drinks and arachnids. 

The tours always start after the museum closes, when all other guests have left and the lights have already been turned off. Only the museum education team guides the group through the museum’s now-dark hallways. A unique museum experience that’s both fun and exciting!

It’s important that all participants bring their own flashlights. Please also note: Only cash payments are accepted on site. The meeting point for the tour is at the museum ticket office.
