Salary
The remuneration and classification of the mayor and deputy mayors is regulated by the state ordinance on the remuneration and expense allowances of full-time municipal elected officials (Kommunal-Besoldungsverordnung).
The deputy mayor is classified in salary grade B 5. According to the State Remuneration Ordinance, this corresponds to a basic salary of €9,907.46, or €10,107.46 from November onwards.
In addition, the mayor and the deputy mayors receive an allowance for expenses incurred in the performance of their duties. This is also specified in the Local Government Remuneration Ordinance.
Deputy Mayor Manuela Matz receives an expense allowance of €174.86.
