Training as a professional driver takes place within the dual system, lasts a total of three years, and consists of:
- practical training with the City of Mainz's municipal cleaning department
- school-based training at the vocational school in Bingen

Remuneration
1st year of training: €1,368.26/month
2nd year of training: €1,418.20/month
3rd year of training: €1,464.02/month
