As an automotive mechatronics technician specializing in commercial vehicle technology, you will maintain and repair commercial vehicles and engines of all kinds. During your training, you will learn the following skills in particular:

• Checking brake systems and engines
• Chassis measurements
• Checking movable equipment such as gripper arms
• Replacing defective electronic or mechanical components
• Repairing body damage
• Installation of additional equipment such as navigation devices, radio or hands-free systems
• Vehicle recovery service
