The Waggonfabrik studio building is located on a former industrial site in Mainz-Mombach. Since 2009, 14 studios have been available here, which the state capital of Mainz awards to young visual artists and professional and full-time artists from the state capital of Mainz for a maximum of five years. The studio house is home to a variety of artistic disciplines, from painting, graphic design, and sculpture to photography, installation art, and video art.
