If you have a primary residence, you must go to the registration office responsible for your primary residence to change the address on your eID card.

If you do not have a primary residence, you can go to the registration office responsible for the place where you currently live to change your address.

Your address will only be changed on the chip of your eID card, because no address is printed on the card itself.

• You must have moved.
• You must have an eID card.

• You must register in person at your local registration office.
• You present your current official registration confirmation and your valid eID card.
• The registration office will then change the address on your eID card free of charge.
