As part of a simple registration register inquiry, the registration authority will provide you with the surname, first names, doctorate, and current addresses of the person you are looking for. If the person is deceased, you will be notified.

Whether a registration authority provides you with information about the person you are looking for is at its discretion. Simple registration information will not be provided if there is a restriction on disclosure in the registration register or if the registration authority has reason to believe that this could pose a risk to the interests of the person concerned or another person that are worthy of protection.

• The person you are looking for must be clearly identifiable based on the information you provide. This means that you must already have data about the person concerned. This usually includes their first and last name, date of birth, gender, or last known address.
• If you are using the data for commercial purposes, you must specify this.
• When making the request, you must declare that you will not use the data for advertising or address trading purposes, or that you have the consent of the person concerned to do so.
• If you submit the request to the registration authority for advertising or address trading purposes and the registration authority does not have consent, you must declare to the registration authority that you have consent.
• The registration authority may require you to provide the consent of the person concerned.
• There must be no information block in the registration register.
