Current Notice Regarding the Neustadt and Mombach Weekly Markets – Changes Due to Holidays in May and June 2026

 Visitors to the neighborhood market in Mombach will find the butcher’s cart on the market grounds on the Wednesday before the holidays (Ascension Day, May 14, 2026, and Corpus Christi, June 4, 2026). 

The Neustadt market at Frauenlobplatz will be canceled without replacement due to the holidays. 

To ensure you can still stock up on fresh, regional food, you’ll find the same selection of goods at the Main Market during the usual hours (Tuesday, Friday, Saturday).

The main market on the Domplätze and the neighborhood markets are organized and operated by the Office for Economic Affairs and Real Estate, Trade Fairs, and Markets. 

The days and opening hours are as follows:

• Main Market at Höfchen, Markt, and Liebfrauenplatz: Tuesday, Friday, Saturday from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m.
• Old Town, Leichhof, Monday and Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Old Town, Hopfengarten, Thursday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Old Town, Neubrunnenplatz, Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Neustadt, Frauenlobplatz, Thursday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Bretzenheim, An der Wied, Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Gonsenheim, Kirchstraße, Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Mombach, Hauptstraße, Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• Weisenau, Tanzplatz, Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
