On January 1, 2023, unemployment benefit II and social assistance were replaced by citizen's income. The job center is responsible for paying citizen's income and accommodation costs.

The Jobcenter can provide you with information on where to apply and what documents you need to submit.

The services provided by the Jobcenter include:

• Additional needs benefits
• Financial assistance for starting self-employment
• Counseling, placement, and support services
• Job application assistance and training measures
• Placement in job opportunities or voluntary work
• Help with finding childcare options
• Help with personal problems: debt counseling, psychosocial counseling, addiction counseling
