With her lovingly decorated shop on Augustinerstraße, tea sommelier Silke Neumann fulfilled a dream in 2015: "Tea has been a part of my life since I was a child," she says, "and I've turned this passion into my profession." The name was inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale about the elderberry goddess. "Tea is still the perfect fit for today's modern lifestyle and the desire for natural foods," says the owner. "And it's a varied, healthy treat for all times of the day and all seasons."

She and her team offer personal, expert advice on choosing from the wide range of products. In addition to high-quality black and green teas, herbal and fruit teas from the traditional Ronnefeldt company, she also stocks her own line, "mutter holunder," which includes "Mainzer Altstadttee" and "Sommerfrische." Sample sets with several varieties are also available.

Those who want to treat themselves or give gifts to others will find other carefully selected products. In addition to stylish tableware, delicacies from small manufacturers are offered, including spices, mustard, fruit spreads, and chocolate. The teas and sweet and savory delicacies are available on site or via the online shop. For at home, there are also scones and clotted cream for English-style afternoon tea.
