When you walk into Markus Schuler's Rheinhattan Bar, you can see that a lot of passion and love has gone into it. Together with his wife, the multi-award-winning cocktail master has created a very special cocktail bar on Neutorstraße.
The bar is an insider tip—only guests who know where to ring the bell on the red door in the busy street can enjoy a drinking experience that focuses on very special enjoyment. Those who make it to the bar will be greeted by a restaurateur who takes plenty of time for his guests and can tell you something about every spirit.
The most popular drinks are the Wildberry Old Fashion, the Cool Runnings, and the Liquid Art Drink Huckleberry Finn. The latter is served in a glass pipe—and that's not even the most exciting drinking vessel Markus Schuler has to offer. His love of detail is reflected in the unusual glasses. Of course, the typical Meenzer wine spritzer is also on the menu – but why order a wine spritzer when you can drink 100-year-old cognac in the rooms of the former hospital?
Prices start at €10 and up, with signature drinks ranging from €12 to €14. For connoisseurs, Schuler even has a whiskey bottle worth almost €5,000 on offer – so his shelf has something to suit every budget.
