With over 10,000 French-language media items, the media library of the Institut Français Mainz is one of the most important places for French-language literature, films, and music in the Rhine-Main area.

In the picturesque Palais Schönborn, located directly on Schillerplatz, interested parties and language enthusiasts will find an extensive selection:

• literary works (classic and contemporary novels, plays, and essays) as well as non-fiction books on philosophy and art

• an extensive selection of children's books

The library card costs just €25 per year (reduced rate €18) and also gives you access to Culturethèque, an extensive digital library with e-books, magazines, newspapers, audiobooks, comics, videos, music recordings, and much more.
