Contemporary witnesses in stone
As part of the "Historical Mainz" series, information boards have been attached to numerous historically significant and culturally valuable buildings, monuments and places for many years.
Over 230 panels and steles, some of which feature specially commissioned plans and drawings, now provide guests and visitors to the city with a wealth of interesting information about the building's history, uses, architects, and clients.
This special open-air museum would not have been possible without generous donations from Mainz companies and citizens.
