Drivers in Mainz can save themselves the hassle of searching for change at parking ticket machines. You can pay by cash card at many machines, but "mobile parking" is also possible in all parking zones with parking ticket machines. Mobile parkers must first register on the website www.mobil-parken.de (opens in a new tab) with one of the certified operators active in Mainz.
