Revision of the Fee Schedule for Issuing Resident Parking Permits Effective July 1, 2025
The State Capital of Mainz would like to remind residents of the changes to the fee schedule for resident parking. The new fee schedule was adopted by a City Council resolution on April 9, 2025. This regulation will take effect on July 1, 2025.
The application process remains the same. Permits are issued for a period of 1 year; however, a cancellation or partial refund may be requested.
Issued permits remain valid until their expiration date. You can apply for a new parking permit 4 weeks before your current permit expires.
The new fee is calculated based on an annual base fee of 31.20 euros, multiplied by the length and width of the vehicle. The basis for this calculation is fields 18 and 19 of the vehicle registration certificate.
