The consultation is personal, confidential, competent, impartial, and free of charge. The coordination of all care options in the event of illness or the need for nursing care is based on the wishes and needs of those affected.

The specialists provide information on outpatient care, relief and training services for family caregivers, day and short-term care, and nursing homes, among other things. If necessary, they assist in organizing the necessary support. Upon request, counseling can also be provided at home.

In Mainz, there are contact persons available at six counseling centers. The counseling centers are assigned to specific districts.
