The mainz STORE / Tourist Information is centrally located in the city center directly on Domplatz and is the first point of contact for all visitors. International tourists and guests to the city are offered a wide range of information and personal advice. Mainz residents are of course also very welcome.
 
The mainz STORE offers much more than just classic tourist information: Visitors will find a wine shop with exquisite wines from Mainz, the Rhine-Hesse region, and the whole of Rhineland-Palatinate, as well as a shop selling souvenirs, books, and typical Mainz specialties. A special highlight is the "mainzgefühl Experience" – an interactive exhibition area that invites visitors to discover the characteristic Mainz way of life in a playful way. This is characterized above all by conviviality, openness, down-to-earthness, and warmth. The upper floor of the mainz STORE also hosts changing exhibitions that can be visited free of charge.
