Traditional wine tourism is combined with playful challenges at Domhof – and that's what convinced the jury. In the red wine cellar, visitors can no longer just taste wine or listen to stories about winegrowing; instead, it becomes an "escape room." Guests slip into a new role as "wine spies" and experience wine in an unusual way. The cellar door closes, the timer starts, and there are exactly 60 minutes to solve all the puzzles and uncover the secret of the Domhof. During the tricky exploration of the cellar, guests immerse themselves in the world of wine production.

Domhof Winery

The Domhof will score points with the Best Of Wine Tourism Awards 2019 for this innovative wine tourism experience. The dedicated winery has already won two awards in previous years: in 2018 in the "Accommodation" category and in 2010 in the "Architecture, Parks & Gardens" category.
