Experience firsthand how wine is made. Accompany the winemaker throughout the year and help out. Immerse yourself in Rheinhessen. Since 2018, this has been possible as part of the “Winemaker for a Year” project organized by Kultur- und Weinbotschafter Rheinhessen e.V.
Through four modules—one for each season—visitors can experience firsthand the work in the vineyard and the winemaking process. The program offers a diverse insight into the work of winemakers and the cultural landscape of Rheinhessen. This program was honored with the 2019 Best Of Wine Tourism Award in the category “Sustainability in Wine Tourism.”
