Wine tourism service: Kultur- und Weinbotschafter Rheinhessens e. V.
In the "Wine Tourism and Service" category, the jury also voted unanimously in favor of the "Kultur- und Weinbotschafter Rheinhessens e. V." (Rheinhessen Culture and Wine Ambassadors Association) for a pioneering project "that has significantly advanced Rheinhessen and achieved impressive results." All members of the initiative have received in-depth training from the Service Center for Rural Areas (DLR) in Oppenheim.
The organization's goal is to "bring people closer to the Rheinhessen region and Rheinhessen wines and give visitors lively insights into the wine culture landscape." The numerous event series include, for example, the guided tours "Wednesdays at 6 p.m. in Rheinhessen."
