Step by step into today

For centuries, the Catholic parish cemetery was the only burial site in Finthen. It was not until 1843 that the area behind the cycling hall was added. In 1909, the current local cemetery was opened. Just under 40 years later, it was equipped with a funeral hall. In 1972, the building was expanded and finally replaced by a new hall in 2011. This was the last milestone in Finthen's varied funeral history to date.
