Digitalization does not stop at special places such as cemeteries. The Mombach Forest Cemetery now has an electronic information terminal. Whereas visitors previously had to contact the cemetery administration to find out where a particular person's grave was located, they can now do so directly via a touchscreen in front of the funeral hall.

In addition, the new information terminal also displays the upcoming funeral services on a daily basis. Previously, a board had to be written on every morning for this purpose.

The Mombach Forest Cemetery can certainly be seen as a pilot project. If the new system is well received, it will be used at other cemeteries in the state capital.
